I have never heard of face pack, but I think washing your face and being fresh-faced is the best.
I've never heard anyone wanting to de-tan. I suppose if you are naturally tanned you woulnd't wan to be too dark. I have the problem of being too fair and can't tan.
I am definitely doing this now that it’s already spring. But I think the most effective in glowing skin is hyrating.

Living in the tropical country makes my skin really dry , much more during summer season. That's why I do wash my face like every 2 to 3 hours (or spray my face with water) to make it hydrated. Plus use moisturizers.

I can see how water would be beneficial for all kinds of things in the summer. Staying hydrated is so important. I had never heard of a facepack before but it makes a lot of sense.
